LELAN’s Laneway of Lived Experience, originally launched in June 2021, is an interactive art exhibition showcasing stories gathered from members of the lived experience community through one-on-one interviews and artwork created by them. We have invited more contributions and will be bringing the exhibition back for Mental Health Month.
The exhibition will be displayed at say.kitchen throughout October. An open day for people to view the exhibition and meet LELAN’s Project Worker, Sam Lai, is being held Friday October 8th 10am-4pm. No booking is required, just drop by and say hi. At other times during Mental Health Month people can drop-in and view the exhibition but may not be able to see all of it if the workshop space is booked.
We invite you to join us and take part in witnessing these stories, to truly hear and learn from them together. LELAN extends our gratitude to the storytellers, the Mental Health and Wellbeing Directorate (Wellbeing SA) and Adelaide City Council for their contributions to our Laneway of Lived Experience project.
