This Mental Health Session will be facilitated by qualified Nepali-speaking mental health registered nurses from the Bhutanese/Nepali community who are currently working in the field. The session will cover topics such as mental health conditions, early intervention, community support, and available resources. It will also include a Q&A and interactive activities.

Some of the objectives of the events are:
– To organise a bilingual community awareness event (by having expert’s guest speakers from Mental Health Coalition South Australia or from BPDco or other local services representatives with the nepali translator to gap the language barriers for our community members).
– Invite Speaker from within the Community who has worked in the Space and have professional insights about mental health and recovery in a culturally relatable way.
– Developed and distribute available recourses with translations, (flyer, videos, audio, or infographics in nepali) that explains BPDco in simplest, stigma-free language for clear understanding for our community members.

This interactive and interesting event for our community members includes receiving information everyone can benefit from, with the Q&A interactive segment where the attendees can express their feelings and ask questions.
