The City of Adelaide is excited to share details of an upcoming, free activation launching on World Mental Health Day. A giant, nine-metre-tall yellow swing has landed in the heart of Adelaide! How long has it been since you last felt the thrill of swinging high?

This playful installation, designed for adults and the young-at-heart, invites you to escape the office and break free from the everyday. Feel like a kid again as you’re propelled through the air, offering a fresh view of the city and a blissful sense of freedom.

Experience the exhilarating rush as you soar to new heights and let the wind whip through your hair. Art and playfulness are not just fun—they’re great for your mental health! Swing into a positive mindset and reconnect with your inner child.

Come for a swing, or just be a spectator at this seriously playful public art event. Whimsical theatre performers guide and support every SWING. Don’t miss your chance to swing for the stars in this one-of-a-kind adventure!
