The report can be found on the South Australian Parliament website HERE and select Social Development Committee to access the report.
Key recommendations in the report include consolidating existing protections into a single Act, transitioning the Equal Opportunity Commission to a Human Rights Commission, and launching a statewide consultation on the proposed model.
The Human Rights Act for SA campaign was led by SACOSS, Rights Resource Network SA, Human Rights Law Centre, and Australian Lawyers for Human Rights. You can read our submission here.
