The Lived Experience Workforce Program (LEWP) is leading the development of the Lived Experience/Peer workforce in SA’s mental heath sector (NGO and SA Health). LEWP is pleased to offer a free, online 2-day professional development opportunity for experienced Lived Experience/Peer workers who wish to learn about delivering Lived Experience/Peer practice supervision. 

Our aim is to:

  • Upskill experienced Lived Experience/Peer workers and support pathways into peer leadership;
  • Increase the pool of skilled, trained individuals who can provide Lived Experience practice-specific Peer Supervision within their organisation;
  • Increase the pool of skilled, trained individuals who can provide external Peer Supervision to people in designated mental health Lived Experience/Peer work roles e.g. through LEWP’s fee-for-service Peer Supervision or through an in-kind arrangement between organisations
