Mental Health Month

Mental Health Month is a national event that happens every October which aims to improve community awareness and interest in mental health and wellbeing.

This October, Mental Health Month invites South Australians to Find Your Way to Wellbeing, this year’s theme.

With so much happening around us, it can be easy to feel the weight of the world, personal pressures, and the need to keep up with it all. We want to remind everyone that it’s okay to step back and focus on your wellbeing. Every person deserves self-care without guilt. This October, be conscious of your capacity, honour your limits, and find your own path back to your wellbeing.

Are you thinking of hosting a Mental Health Month event?

If you are looking for ideas on what kind of events you can host for your workplace, community, library or community centre then take a look at our suggestions here.

With all your events we encourage thoughtful and safe mental health conversations. To help you with this you can look at our resource here.

If you are putting on a Mental Health Month event we would love for you to register it on our calendar, and you can do that here.
