Today the Mental Health Coalition of South Australia held its Annual General Meeting where it presented its annual report. You can download a version of it here.
2021-22 was another year that saw us in and out of lockdowns however we pushed through with many achievements.
Last year we released our PwC report on the case for investing in psychosocial supports. As our President and Executive Director wrote in the Annual Report;
“The aim was to communicate these messages to our own networks so that we become better at articulating them, but also to the broader community to build better understandings beyond just Ministers and SA Health. The Board is committed to building momentum in this work…”
With the PwC report came our social media campaign that took on a life as community service announcements in Wallis Cinemas, Channel 7 and 9.
In our Annual Report you can also read how we delivered on our main areas of work in our Strategic Plan as: Policy and Sector Capacity Building; Lived Experience Workforce and Mental Health Promotion.
The team were busy delivering on our Lived Experience Workforce Program, the implementation of the SA Mental Health Services Plan, reviewing and monitoring the NDIS and Psychosocial Support, the Safety and Quality submission and workforce survey.
